Luscious Cream Liner Kohl Pencils – Review and Swatches

Hello pretty ladies! Viral infection is everywhere and I have caught it too, I hope it gets better soon. Take care of yourselves guys.

The product under scrutiny today is the Luscious Cream Liner Kohl Pencils. They have re-launched this product with improved formula.

Product claims

A velvety liner for the eyes containing a blend of antioxidants and vitamins. Richly pigmented to deliver intense, gorgeous colour. Glides on softly without tugging or irritating your eyes.

What do I think?

I got these in Black Onyx, Molten Gold, Moss Green, Navy Blue and Snow White. To begin with, the packaging doesn’t look cheap and the cap tightly secures the product making it travel-friendly. The product itself glides on smoothly without tugging and pigmentation is fairly good but needs to be layered up to build intensity. I wore Black Onyx as eye liner and ended up with panda eyes after about 3 hours and it transferred to my eye lids too (I have oily lids even in this weather), so probably I won't be using these as eye liners. I shall definitely be using it when I want to do a smoky eye because all of these blend easily due to their creaminess and apply easily on waterline. I used Molten Gold on my waterline and it did stay there for good 3 hours. All those ladies out there who love smudged eye liners these might work for you. Moreover these do not go off easily with water and soap, staying power is justified but I wish they didn’t transfer, oh well, maybe not for my oily lids. I also feel they are overpriced a bit, since their Bold Intense Eyeliner Pencils are also priced the same and I wished these came in a twist up pencil at this price.

Wearing Black Onyx on eye lid and Molten Gold on waterline

Black Onyx – True black (not the blackest)
Molten Gold – Pale golden (a good nude for waterline, looks more yellow in swatches as compared to in person)
Moss Green – A dark green
Navy Blue – A deep blue
Snow White – Pure white

Price PKR 395 (US $3.93)

Availability All stores with Luscious Cosmetics stand and online at Luscious Cosmetics and Just4girls.pk.

My Rating 3/5

Have you tried this product? What do you think?

Love,
Fizzah

    1. I can reply to your query in two ways:
the ones I have swatched are Luscious Bold Intense liner, Maybelline Colossal Kajal and both these are good with good pigmentation. Luscious one is more pigmented but that is metallic.
the ones I believe will live up to the expectations are: Milani Eyeliner Pencil and Essence Gel Pencils, I have not swatched these but I order Essence ones from J4G and those went out of stock.

Will also tell you what Sadaf has to say about this :)

    2. Thank you so much, ill hopefully give these a try :D I'm using Arabian Black from Diana of London for years, it's jet black and doesn't transfer, but it tugs my eye so badly, need a change and didn't know which ones to try out :)
